Fundamentals of Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Course Overview

What does it take to turn an idea into a thriving venture? This course gives you the tools to find out. Fundamentals of Innovation and Entrepreneurship equips learners with the critical thinking frameworks, strategic tools, and entrepreneurial mindset needed to navigate today's rapidly evolving global economy.

Structured around three dynamic themes — Design Thinking, Entrepreneurial Strategy, and Growth Leadership — the course grounds theory in practice through real-world case studies, the Lean Startup Model, and the Business Model Canvas. Every topic is contextualized within the UAE's vibrant innovation ecosystem and the broader ambitions of the We the UAE 2031 Vision.

As a fully self-paced, asynchronous course, you decide when and how fast you learn. By the end, you will be positioned to recognize opportunities, validate ideas, and communicate your vision with confidence — whether you are launching your own venture or driving innovation within an organization.
