Assessment methods

Full Program Assessment

Reviews the overall curriculum, graduation and entry requirements, and benchmarks the program against international standards. It considers cohort analysis results of PLOs assessment, completion rate, attrition and retention rate, and progression rate. 

Every 3 years.

Learning Outcomes Assessment (PLOs Assessment)

Measures the achievement of Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and reviews their link to Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs). This includes grades and surveys from employees, alumni, and graduate exit. 

Annually

Content and Course Design Assessment

Content and Course Design Assessment: Detailed review of the content of each course and its design, and interactivity level. 

Every 3 years.

Assessment of the Assessment Structure and Tools

Ensures valid and appropriate assessment of CLOs and their link to PLOs. This includes grades, assessment moderation results, and the number of grade appeals. 

Annually

End of Semester Course Assessment

Done by the faculty, recorded in the course file, assessing the achievement of CLOs.
